My New Studio: The Mansion on 8th Street

November 18, 2012

I feel blessed each and every day I wake up in my new home. Since November 1st, I have been living in what I call ‘The Mansion’: a beautifully preserved 5000 square foot Victorian dwelling filled with some incredible features. The featured image is the main (front) staircase – we have one in the back too!
The woodwork throughout is aweinspiring… craftsmen must have spent many, many months creating this beautiful work of art.

The 12′ ceilings throughout give a sense of total majesty to the entire house, and the wonderful attention to detail (like this one fireplace featured here) make this a visual spectacle. Immaculate hardwood floors throughout balance the the sheer volume of this space. It features two kitchens, three full bathrooms, an extensive rear garden, and off-street parking.

Waking up in a space like this, one can’t help but be inspired to create. It’s wonderful that my charity celebrity fundraising platform “Pants-4-Art” now has an official headquarters, and I’m looking forward to running my first community outreach program for the Allentown 250 project, producing the official anniversary artwork for our great city.
We are also happy to be able to open up our space to other visiting artists and artists from the community (whether it’s musical, visual, dramatic, or any other artistic medium) Although our official launch date is January 2nd 2013, we will be holding a number of events between now and the end of the year, and welcome any suggestions for events we can host, or any international artists that wish to discuss short term residencies.

We have grand plans for the house, including a wonderful community project to revamp and landscape the backyard into a meditation garden with water features and sculptures. It is my dream to create an inner city sanctuary where people from all walks of life can come and relax, recouperate, and experience the wonderfully restorative elements art offers.
In addition I shall be relaunching the International Brain-Soul Network motivational seminars and self-development courses out of this center.
We look forward to hearing from you all, and feel very lucky to have managed to finally find a suitable property to run all our projects from and achieve our wildest dreams.
Thank you all for your support, love, and encouragement.

  1. It is indeed a wonderful mansion and it will be an extraordinary hub of artful activity with you at the helm. I wish you all the very best with this venture Ant and look forward to revisiting when the gallery is filled with treasures and visitors.
